Riders can now register for the 2012 edition of USA Cycling’s Developmet Camps. To register for a camp, sign in to your My USA Cycling account and click on the “Register for an Event” button.
This year, the Rocky Mountain Camp, which is held in Colorado Springs, will feature a challenging race at the Ute Valley Pro XCT. Riders were faced with the same course last year as part of the Hotter than Habanero Omnium, but this year the fields will be bigger and faster, so riders can expect to learn a lot at camp.
Along with the Pro XCT race, riders will learn fundamental skills for future development and will be challenged with rides in Palmer Park, Red Rock Canyon, and the ever-popular Pipeline shuttle descent.
Select riders from this camp will be given consideration for an invitation to a Junior European Race Camp that will be held in the Black Forest of Germany in late August/early September 2012.
